JODIC Participated in the 62nd Executive Council Meeting of the International Association of Deposit Insurers

JODIC participated in the meetings of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) that were held virtually at the end of May via WEBEX as a result of Coronavirus pandemic. The 62nd Executive Council Meeting (IADI) was held besides the Council Committees meetings, the Core Principles and Research Council Committee (CPRC) and the Member Relations Council Committee (MRC).

The EXCO meeting agenda included a presentation titled "The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Deposit Insurance and Financial Stability - IADI Survey Results Summary” that illustrated the observations on macro-impacts, financial sector policy responses, specific implications for Deposit Insurers and other regulatory and policy initiatives . The presentation was prepared based on the survey results collected from 42 deposit insurers worldwide and additional surveys information provided by IADI Asia-Pacific Regional Committee and the Bank Guarantee Fund of Poland. 

There was also a discussion on the IADI strategic plan, phase II goals and strategic plan working group, in order to advance the strategic direction and meet the priorities of the Association. In continuation to the discussion, the 63rd EXCO meeting was held on June 12th, 2020.
