JODIC plays a vital role through its membership in the Research and Guidance Committee (RGC) of  the International Association of Deposit Insurers(IADI). It participates in the development of  various Research and Guidance Papers that are initiated under the direction of the RGC in order to provide academia, policy makers, deposit insurers and others with guidance and research data that are needed to enhance the effectiveness of the Deposit Insurance Systems

JODIC chairs the subcommittee on “ Effective Deposit Insurance Mandate”.

The mandate is issued in a form of guidance paper undergoing public consultation.

 Moreover, JODIC is a member of Islamic Deposit Insurance Group and Guidance group. The Guidance Group is also responsible for assembling the individual guidance principles into a compendium of Core Principles.These principles represent the consensus thinking of IADI members regarding the establishment or improvement of a deposit insurance system.
