His Excellency: Dr. Waleed Al-Qasrawi

Director General

Dr. Waleed Mustafa Al-Qasrawi assumed his position as the Director General of Jordan Deposit Insurance Corporation (JODIC) on September 1st, 2025. Prior to that, Dr. Al-Qasrawi held several positions at the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), and most recently was the Director of Money Exchange Supervision Department.

The Director General shall carry out the duties and authorities required to manage the Corporation's affairs, including:

• The implementation of the Corporation's general policy, set out by the Board, and the instructions and decisions issued thereby
•  The preparation of the Corporation's organizational structure.
• The supervision of the Corporation's administrative apparatus.
• The preparation of the Corporation's annual report and closing financial statements for presentation to the Board within a period not exceeding three months from the end of the fiscal year.
• The preparation of the Corporation's annual budget draft.
• Any other authorities delegated to the Director General by the Board or assigned to him by the regulations and instructions issued in accordance with the provisions of this law.
