Jordan Deposit Insurance Corporation (JODIC) participated in the events of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI): the 19th IADI Annual General Meeting and the 65th Executive Council meeting that were held virtually, via WEBEX, during the period November – December 2020.

JODIC also participated in the meetings held in conjunction with the 65th EXCO meeting: the Core Principles and Research Council Committee (CPRC), the Member Relations Council Committee (MRC), the Strategic Planning Working Group (SPWG) and the Middle East and North Africa Regional Committee (MENA). During the meetings, many important topics related to the development of the Association’s work were discussed, such as the IADI strategic and business plans and the development of the Association’s researches.

It’s worth mentioning that Mr. Yury Isaev, the Director General of the State Corporation “Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA)” (Russian Federation) was elected as the Chair of the Executive Council and President of the Association (IADI). In addition to that, new EXCO-members were elected to the Executive Council which currently has 25 members from different countries, including Jordan, represented by the Corporation.
